Favicon in Joomla

Favicon is the small icon that appears in the browser address bar. Creating favicon  make your website more professional feel.

How to create favicon in Joomla website

Today you can find a lot of websites offering creating favicons. We will use http://www.favicon.cc

1.  Go to www.favicon.cc
2.  Click On Import Image
3.  Click on Choose File button.
   
4.  Select Image you would like to use as favicon and click Open.
   
5.  Click Upload.
6. Latest Windows versions save download files in Download directory.
   
7. Copy favicon icon.
8. Go to your Joomla -> Templates -> Your Template directory and past favicon.
   
9. Check your Joomla website in browser.
